Education has been a consistent priority for Vitro and as proof of this Vitro sponsors four schools in Monterrey through its Educational Foundation, A.C. (FEAC) established in 1942 and which this past August 18 opened its doors to 1,665 students for the 2008-2009 school year.

Jim Ventre of Vitro America Elected GANA Mirror Division Chair

The Glass Association of North America (GANA) announced that Jim Ventre of Vitro America was elected by the GANA Mirror Division to be its new Chairman. Ventre succeeds Tom Crawford of Donisi Mirror, who vacated the position to become the new Treasurer of the Association.
