GANA provides a unified voice on matters affecting the glass and glazing industry.

The Glass Association of North America (GANA) announced that Jim Ventre of Vitro America was elected by the GANA Mirror Division to be its new Chairman.  Ventre succeeds Tom Crawford of Donisi Mirror, who vacated the position to become the new Treasurer of the Association. 

GANA is the leading association serving flat glass manufacturers, fabricators and glazing contractors. Ventre has been in the glass industry for 25 years.

“I appreciate the opportunity to lead the GANA Mirror Division,” said Ventre.  “I will do my very best to help create new energy and enthusiasm toward our mirror and glass industry.”

In his current role at Vitro America, Ventre is responsible for all sales of the Grenada, MS plant. 

“Vitro Grenada has been manufacturing mirror since 1947 and holds exclusive rights to their ScarGard mirror surface protector.  This facility is also one of the largest producers of laminated glass products in the United States”, he stated.

Jim Ventre sells and markets their products with the support of 9 independent reps throughout the U.S. 

“Vitro America Grenada also sells its products through branch distribution centers”, he assured us.

In addition, he is responsible for Direct Truckload sales of flat glass from Vitro’s manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico into the United States.
