Awarding of the recognition “Master in Quality of Daimler Trucks”

By having complied with all of the requirements and satisfied the expectations of quality and service, last September 3 Daimler delivered to Vitro’s Automotive (VAU) ATX plant the coveted award “Master in Quality of Daimler Trucks”.

“Receiving this award inspires us to improve even more as the expectations of the automotive industry become stricter day by day and challenge us to be more demanding of ourselves in order to be the best option for our clients”, comments Baldemero Gardea, Vitro Automotive Director.

The recognition is given by Daimler only to those reliable suppliers that meet their parameters of quality and service.

Daniel Martinez, Plant Manager of VAU’s facility ATX, explains that the process consists of all the areas in Daimler Trucks evaluating the performance of each and every one of its suppliers in order to emit recommendations.

“We are very proud of the fact that we were recommended by all the areas of our client by having performed with the highest quality standards”.

Martinez adds that client recognition is the best testimonial for us and potential clients.

He points out “this consolidates Vitro as a 100% reliable supplier and better positions us to seek new contracts and clients; at Vitro we have a clear vision that the customer always comes first”.
