Vitro causes a positive impression during the audit

On June 4th Volkswagen de México performed a technical audit of Vitro’s Automotriz (VAU) Plant ATX for the purpose of determining its potential to support future projects from Volkswagen.

“It was a very beneficial exercise as both parties recognized our capabilities as well as identifying areas of opportunity where we can improve to offer a continuously improving service”, comments Daniel Martínez, Operations Manager for the VAU Plant ATX.

He adds that the audit results classifies Vitro as a Class “A” supplier for this manufacturer in the areas of: Administration of Development, Design, Research and Development.
 
“The auditor shared with us his view that we are a supplier that has the processes and methodology to support them in their new developments”, he assures us.

The great importance of these positive results in these types of audits is that the Company is positioned to participate in new models and developments from Volkswagen.

Previously, Vitro has been acknowledged by Volkswagen de México for Vitro Automotriz’s quality, service, leadership and optimum performance.
