Vitro, the largest glass manufacturer in Mexico, supplies the glass containers for the Ahuacatlan avocado oil, a new product launched by Diricom, that is 100 % natural and whose qualities make it ideal for everyday use.
“First we supplied our client with a 1 liter presentation and now we’re working with the 250 ml presentation in a square shape with an emerald green color”, explains Gabriel González, Commercial Manager for Food and Distributors for Vitro Glass Containers.
He adds that the color choice for the bottle was done intentionally to enhance the product’s image and so the consumer would associate it with the properties of the avocado.
The Ahuacatlan oil is 100% pure coming from the avocados harvested in Michoacán, the cradle of the best avocado in the world. All of the avocados used in the product are handpicked and processed under the strictest international health norms.
Avocado oil is completely natural whose qualities make it broadly recommended for daily use, as it produces no aroma and doesn’t mix with the flavors of the food as well as not scorching at high temperatures.
In addition, it has a very low content of saturated fats, damaging to our health, but is rich in acids that are essential for our organism, constitutes a rich source of vitamin A and helps reduce cholesterol.
Since it is considered a “gourmet” product targeted for a consumer concerned with eating healthy foods, the purity of the glass bottle contributes towards the projection of a Premium product.
“This ratifies that glass is the best packaging material for foods and beverages, as it does not alter the properties of its contents while totally preserving aromas and flavors”, points out Gonzalez.
He adds that Vitro has gone one step further than just the manufacturing process by supporting Diricom with the development of different proposals for material used at the point of sale.
The Ahaucatlan avocado oil is sold in Mexico through the network of principal Price Clubs.
