Monte Xanic is nestled in the strategic Guadalupe Valley, a wine region that is responsible for producing 90 percent of Mexico’s wines and located 30 kilometers east of Ensenada and 95 kilometers south of Tijuana.

With 80 hectares of land, located 400 meters above sea level and just 15 kilometers from the Pacific coast its vineyards possess all of the necessary conditions to produce superb grapes with the desired quality and appropriate acidity.

The quality controls used by Monte Xanic for wine making is exceptional as each year they incorporate new French oak ageing kegs into the process.

Monte Xanic: Cradle of the Greatest Mexican Wines

The word Xanic comes from the Cora language used by an indigenous ethnic group from Nayarit, Jalisco and Sinaloa on the Mexican Pacific Coast. It means “the flower that blooms after the first rainfall”.
