• The attractive and stylish new designing for the glass jars help rejuvenate this classic product from Nestlé.
  • Glass consolidates its position as an excellent alternative for packaging food and beverages by preserving the integrity of the contents as well as being an ecological friendly material.

El vidrio es la mejor opción para envasar alimentos y bebidas.

Vitro manufactures the three new formats for the family of Nescafé Clasico, confirming that glass is the best option for packaging food and beverages as it does not alter the flavor, aroma nor the product’s properties contained within and is a material that is 100% recyclable.

“In our efforts for continuous improvement and endeavors to offer new and attractive options to our customers, Nestlé made the decision to change the product image of its Classic Nescafé and it gives us great pride that they have once again chosen the Vitro quality to do so”, affirmed Gabriel González, Food and Beer Marketing Manager for the Vitro Glass Containers business unit.

He adds that the new glass containers offer a stylized design that will make the product stand out on the store shelves.

“We are convinced that the first impression that the new product will give consumers at the point of sale will be much more favorable as the coffee jar’s height has been increased in the three formats: 50, 100 and 200 grams”, he points out.

González comments that, through this new packaging format, we are seeking to satisfy a younger consumer base.

“More and more people, especially the younger generations, are becoming more concerned about their health and look for healthy lifestyles that contribute to the well being of the environment and, in this sense, glass is the best option as it conserves the freshness of its contents longer than other packaging materials and, through recycling, reduces environmental contamination”, he assures us.

The productive business relationship between Nestlé and Vitro spans two decades and the setting into motion of this new project reconfirms the confidence that this important customer has in our products and processes.

“Our best calling card is emphasizing the fact that after 20 years of working on joint projects, Nestlé continues to rely on our superior quality and execution”, affirms González.

Vitro has a very efficient new product development department with very competitive development cycles and outstanding execution compared to the rest of the industry and other types of packaging materials.

“The proof of this is that we completed the design development stage one month before the agreed upon date, thanks to the effort and commitment of all the areas that formed part of the development team”, he concluded.

We are proud at Vitro to have completed nearly 100 years of producing glass products that are 100% environmentally friendly.
