Milk in a glass container? ...and yogurt too!
Vitro supplies the glass bottles for the milk and yogurt under the Tizalac brand, confirming that glass is the ideal option for packaging food and beverages, as its purity maintains the physical and chemical properties of its contents, does not allow the phenomena of flavor or aroma migration as well as does not require preservatives to conserve the food over longer periods of time. “One of the principal advantages of this product launching is the savings that the consumer can attain as the Tizalac bottle is refundable which means the end user only pays for the container once and for refills he/she only pays for the refill”, explains Gabriel González Rocha, Commercial Manager of Vitro Food and Container Distributors. The container stands out for its decoration which includes the application of an Applied Ceramic Label (ACL) as well as a pressure lid that allows the user to close it after serving the desired amount. “We also developed promotional material to support the product sales, proving once again that Vitro has the capacity not only to supply the containers but much more to our clients by offering integral solutions under one roof”, he adds.
As the milk began its distribution and commercialization in Tizayuca, Hidalgo in 2009, Tizalac also undertook the launching of its three yogurt flavors (pineapple, peach and strawberry) packaged in 250 gram glass containers. The responsibility for manufacturing the glass bottles fell upon Vidriera Guadalajara and Vidriera Toluca. “We are very enthusiastic as we observe that the market values, once again, the benefits of consumer products packaged in glass, a material that is environmentally friendly. as it is 100 percent recyclable”, points out González Rocha. |
