Visitors reviewed the broad range of services offered by Vitro.

Vitro participated in the Supplier Fair organized by Grupo Nestlé de México for the purpose of bringing its principal suppliers together to present their innovations in products and services that can be applied to the different Nestlé brands for the purpose of supporting and promoting product launches with value added features and be at the forefront in the marketplace.

The event took place last June 18th in the headquarter offices of Grupo Nestlé México located in México City and an estimated 600 persons took advantage of the Fair.

“We focused on promoting our concept of a “One Stop Shop” through which our clients can view us, as not only a manufacturer of glass containers, but also as brand consultants” confirms  Gabriel González Rocha, Food Marketing Manager of the Vitro Glass Containers business unit.

He adds that, thanks to the peripheral services we offer, it’s possible to offer business solutions that go from market research to detecting business opportunities for the best packaging solution for the product on the shelves.

“This is a great example of teamwork that includes our specialists in the area of Container Design that convert the concepts of our clients to reality, the New Products area that monitors, on a continuing basis, the new tendencies in the marketplace, the Finishing Area that has the capacity to apply different types of labels (one of our areas of strength) and VGD that gives intelligent and functional proposals for the client’s consideration on how to display the product at the point of sale as well as promotional solutions to help position the product”, he explains.

In the event Vitro focused on proposals in the categories of instant coffee, coffee compliments, water, flavored milk, creams, yogurts beverages and flavorings.

Thanks to this forum representatives from Marketing, Packaging, Purchasing, Finance and other related departments witnessed directly this unique concept offered by México’s leading glass manufacturer.
